Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination 2026. Through this recruitment, 2,536 Group C posts will be filled in various ministries and departments of the Central Government.

Exam pattern (in short)
Tier-1 is a computer based objective test which includes questions from General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. Those who pass Tier-1 give Tier-2, which has an objective paper along with a skill test (typing / data entry speed).

LDC/JSA posts come under Pay Level-2 (starting basic approx Rs. 19,900), and DEO posts come under Pay Level-4 (starting basic approx Rs. 25,500), along with DA, HRA and other allowances.
