PublicNaukri (“we”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect on https://www.publicnaukri.com, how we use it and what choices you have.

1. Information we collect

• Information you give us: the name you enter when taking a mock test (optional), the email address you give for job alerts, and - only if you create an account - your mobile number and a password (stored only as a secure hash).
• Test record: when you take a test we create a student record in your browser (a cookie and a record code) so you can see your results and progress. It holds your test answers and scores, not your identity.
• Questions to Sia: the questions you type in the Sia chat are sent to an AI provider to produce an answer. We do not attach your name, phone or email to them. We do not keep a per-person chat history; a common first question and its answer may be kept for a few hours so the next person gets an instant reply.
• Prep Coach: if you use Sia Prep Coach, we keep the exam you chose, the exam date and daily study hours you entered, your study plan and your practice answers. If you turn on Telegram alerts, we keep your Telegram chat number only to send those alerts; send /stop to the bot to turn them off. To make the plan, Sia sends your exam, time and subject scores to an AI provider - never your name or phone number.
• Reports: if you report a problem in a question, we keep the report and the proof you attach (link, book page or photo). Sia (AI) checks it first, then an editor decides.
• Automatic information: browser type, device, approximate location (based on IP), and which pages you viewed - this is used to improve the website.
• Cookies: to remember your preferences and to show ads.

The website can be used without giving any personal details. Users under 18 should create an account only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

2. How we use information

• To improve the website's content and experience.
• To send you email alerts about new vacancies and results (if you have subscribed).
• To show mock test results and build the leaderboard.
• To prevent technical problems and misuse.

We do not sell your personal information, nor do we give it to any third party for marketing.

3. Cookies and Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to show ads on our website. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this website and other websites.

• Google uses the DoubleClick DART cookie to show relevant ads.
• You can turn off personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• To turn off third-party vendor cookies, visit aboutads.info.

You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Some features may not work properly if you do.

4. EEA / UK users

If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, your consent for personalized ads is requested in line with Google's EU user consent policy. You can change your consent at any time - clear the site data in your browser and the banner will appear again.

5. Data security and retention

Your data is transmitted to secure servers over HTTPS. Your email address is kept until you unsubscribe. Test attempts are linked to your student record so you can see your progress; they are also used without names for statistics such as percentiles.

6. Service providers and AI

We use trusted service providers to run the website: hosting, a database, email and notification services, and AI providers that power Sia. They process data only to provide their service to us. We do not send the name, phone number or email from your account to AI providers. Please do not type personal details into the chat.

7. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, and withdraw any consent you gave. To do so, email us at support@publicnaukri.com - we try to respond within 30 days. Complaints can also be sent to our Grievance Officer listed on the Contact page.

8. Third-party links

Our posts contain links to official government websites. We are not responsible for the privacy policies of these external sites - please read their policies before visiting them.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when needed. Changes will appear on this page with the “Last updated” date.
